Case Against Shelton's Scanlon Slated for Court Oct. 24

Ex-Assistant Finance Officer Sharon Scanlon's next in court date will be Oct. 24.

Scanlon resigned as Shelton's assistant Finance Officer before being accused in January of stealing more than $1 million.

She pleaded not guilty earlier this year to 57 felony larceny charges. Scanlon worked for the city for 17 years.

She was arrested Jan. 23, 2013, and her case is on the docket in Milford Superior Court reserved for more serious charges.

William F. Dow III is her attorney. The city has filed a lawsuit against her and plans on placing a lien on her Crescent Drive home.
