David M. Acevedo, 28, of Brook Street, Bridgeport, was arrested on Center Street near Howe Avenue on drug charges.
Acevedo is accused of illegal possession of hallucinogen or four or more ounces of cannabis, interfering with an officer and possession with intent to sell or sale within 1,500 feet of a school.
Police said officers broke up a verbal dispute and Acevedo walked away despite orders to stop. When he did he was searched and PCP was found, police said.
His bond was set at $2,500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
