Deer overpopulation in Shelton?

This all seems to fishy? I say follow the money!

Three Stooges target Shelton for next Deer Kill
Systematically over the last two years the CT DEEP has manipulated data on deer populations claiming Shelton, CT has over 1,500 deer or 48 deer per square mile.
Recently David Streit ( FCDMA ), Howard Kilpatrick ( CT DEEP ) and Kirby Stafford ( CAES ) have set up shop in Shelton CT.
April 2014  -  Howard Kilpatrick ( CT DEEP Wildlife Biologist ) is guest speaker at the Shelton Deer Committee Meeting to discuss “ Managing Urban Deer”
May 2014  -  Kirby Stafford of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station ( CAES ) is a guest speaker to discuss, “tick-borne diseases in Connecticut, and the role that deer play in the disease rates.”   Minutes from the recently formed Shelton Deer Management Group;  indicate they are ready to discuss and approve sharpshooters to control the magical overpopulation of deer and save Shelton from their pending Lyme epidemic.
Shelton, CT is  31.9 square miles and has approximately 450 deer or 14 deer per square mile within it`s borders.  For the past five years the deer harvest has averaged approximately 65 deer for hunters and 46 deer from crop damage permits. Vehicle collisions with deer make up the remaining 12%,  but are down 300% over the last five years;  and currently average 8 per year.   Shelton,CT does not have a deer overpopulation or Lyme problem;   It`s Lyme reports per capita are average for Fairfield County towns.
Shelton does have one problem;  Listening to these three stooges.
The Town of Redding was the Blue Print…..
