Obituary: Elizabeth A. Lewis, Age 73

Elizabeth A. Lewis, age 73, of Shelton entered into rest on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center in Stratford. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas J. Lewis. Elizabeth was born in New Britain on September 22, 1939, daughter of the late Stanley and Marion Robaczynski, and lived in Stratford before moving to Shelton almost 50 years ago.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved raising and being with her family.

She is the beloved mother of Thomas M. Lewis and his wife Karin, Kathryn Balakier and her husband Douglas, and Suzanne Brouillette and her husband Richard. She also leaves five cherished grandchildren, Lisa Michaud, Michael and Laura Brouillette, Nicholas Balakier, and Thomas Lewis, one great grandson, Jack Michaud, her brother, Marcel Robaczynski, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Whitney Balakier.

Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. At 6:30 PM a funeral service will be held in the funeral home.
