Obituary: David M. Sninsky

David M. Sninsky, age 38, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. David was born in Bridgeport on April 19, 1974, beloved son of Michael and Patricia (Kodz) Sninsky of Shelton, and he was a lifelong resident of Shelton.

David worked in construction and ran heavy equipment for many local contractors. He loved hiking and skiing, and enjoyed watching comedies. He had a beautiful smile that was always on his face, and he leaves many good friends.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his cherished fiancé Veronica Adams, his brothers, Jeffrey Sninsky and his wife Katie and Andrew Sninsky, his niece and nephew Megan and Timonthy Sninsky, his fiancé’s parents, George and Helen Adams, and several aunts and uncles.

Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. On Friday his procession will leave Riverview at 10:45 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church in Huntington Center. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.

Memorial contributions are requested to The Megan and Timothy Sninsky Education Fund through the funeral home.

Why is it the panel for this event does not include a single advocate for gun-owners' rights? WithRead More all due respect to Chief McNamara, why does the panel no include a person who can speak to gun safety from a gun-owning civilian's perspective? ML, you claim that the assembled folks "do not offer judgements about gun ownership" but they are not including a single voice that can offer perspective on gun ownership. I have been to "education" sessions sponsored by Meg's March for Change and they are one-sided indoctrinations into gun control advocacy. >>>> I was in Hartford for the public hearings in January when both Meg and March co-founder Nancy gave their personal testimonies and they all but threatened the legislators on the panel with election day retribution for all those who did not tow the gun-control line of thinking (i.e. March and CAGV). To suggest that Meg "does not offer judgements" is fallacious and disingenuous.
