Michael Andrew Manion, 51, of Shelton, entered into rest on Friday, November 22, 2013, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Michael was born in Derby on August 2, 1962, son of Edward M. Manion, Sr. and the late Patricia J. (Bowden) Manion, and was a lifelong Shelton resident.

He was an owner of Rubber Supplies Company Inc. in Derby, where he worked for 34 years. Michael was also a member of the Valley Horseshoe League.
He is the beloved father of Jillian and Christopher, and brother of Patricia (David) Legassie, Jed (Donna) Manion, William (Diane Smith) Manion, and Tim (Melanie Petro) Manion. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, and are private.
