Deborah Lee Rebollo, 64

The following information comes from the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home in Trumbull.

Deborah Lee Rebollo, age 64, of Shelton, passed away Oct. 22, 2013 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was born in Pontiac, Mich., to the late Clinton and Evelyn Daugherty.

She received her Master's degree in Psychology and then went on to further her education where she received a 6th year degree. Deborah had an endurable and lovable spirit which is reflected by those who knew her well. She was an amazing chef, and could take even the most mundane meal like chicken and figure out fifty ways to cook it, as seen in her cookbook. The chick chicken book.

She had an amazing eye for seeing the beauty in things, and designed and redesigned her home several times. She was a fun mother to all four children, threw the most amazing parties, and welcomed everyone into her home and into her heart.

Deborah laughed easily and laughed often, and she found the humor in most every situation. She loved working with children, cared deeply for their mental and social health as a school psychologist, and there was never a child that was too far beyond her reach.

She was dedicated to her work for over twenty five years. She loved to garden, and every spring the house would be overrun with flowers. She loved her friends, and she loved her family. Deborah is irreplaceable and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

She was predeceased by her son Theodore. She is survived by her loving daughter Alana Rebollo of NY; her two step-sons Alejandro Rebollo of Chicago, IL,and Javier Rebollo and his wife Lorraine of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday at 10 a.m. Directly at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4-8p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
