Upcoming Events You Should Know About - MovingWithHOPE Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day presented by MovingWithHOPE
MovingWithHOPE, a Shelton-based organization whos mission is to provide individuals with disabilities increased daily access to physical activity, better nutrition, recreation, socialization and job training.
On May 5, MovingWithHOPE has scheduled a fun day for the whole family and invites you to join them.
The event will run from 1 to 4 p.m. at Willie’s Field Indoor Stadium, 415 Howe Ave., Suite 303 in Shelton.

Activities are planned for people of all abilities, including:
- Sports activities for children ages 2 and up
- Indoor batting cages
- Cardio Sport fitness (ages 13 and up)
- Complimentary chair massages
MoveWithHOPE is asking anyone who wants to attend to register ahead of time for a half hour session. Each person or family member will have several options to choose from, including a martial arts venue, all sport games and recreation, batting practice, and chair massage.

MovingWithHOPE is a nonprofit created to provide a mechanism for individuals with disabilities and their families to make significant changes in their risk for acquiring premature chronic illnesses related to a sedentary lifestyle and poor nutrition choices.
