Dress Up With Your Dog For Halloween - Couples Costumes

Dressing up for Halloween can be great fun, especially if you have a buddy. This year, dress up with your dog in couples costumes.

Dorothy and Toto
A classic, yet timeless couples costume comes straight out of a great movie - The Wizard of Oz. You can dress up like Dorothy and have your dog go as Toto. Or, if you happen to be a man, you can dress up as the Tin Man and have your dog go as the Lion.

Little Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf

Here is another classic. You can go as Little Red Riding Hood and your dog can be the Big Bad Wolf. If your dog is on the smaller side, it will only serve to make it more hilarious. This would also work if you are the wolf and your dog wears a red hooded outfit.

Harry Potter and Fluffy
There are tons of great human/pet combinations to be found in the world of Harry Potter. For example, you can be Harry and your dog can be Fluffy (the three headed dog), you can be Hermione and your dog can be Crookshanks, or you can be Hagrid and your dog can be Norbert the dragon.

Cinderella and her Pumpkin
This one is a bit more creative. You can dress up as Cinderella and have your dog be the pumpkin. Pumpkin dog costumes are more popular than ever this year, so it should not be too difficult to find one.

Flower and Bumble Bee
For something a bit more creative, try this one. You can be a flower and your energetic dog can be a bumble bee. Dogs look very adorable dressed up as bumble bees. If you do not want to be a flower, you can be a beekeeper instead.

Keep It Comfortable
Please keep your pet’s safety in mind. If your dog is uncomfortable or unhappy in a costume, do not dress him up. Being dressed up and paraded around can cause your dog stress and make him unhappy. Many costumes can overheat your dog.

Also remember that Halloween candy can be dangerous for your dog. Never allow your dog to have chocolate!

Why is it the panel for this event does not include a single advocate for gun-owners' rights? WithRead More all due respect to Chief McNamara, why does the panel no include a person who can speak to gun safety from a gun-owning civilian's perspective? ML, you claim that the assembled folks "do not offer judgements about gun ownership" but they are not including a single voice that can offer perspective on gun ownership. I have been to "education" sessions sponsored by Meg's March for Change and they are one-sided indoctrinations into gun control advocacy. >>>> I was in Hartford for the public hearings in January when both Meg and March co-founder Nancy gave their personal testimonies and they all but threatened the legislators on the panel with election day retribution for all those who did not tow the gun-control line of thinking (i.e. March and CAGV). To suggest that Meg "does not offer judgements" is fallacious and disingenuous.
