Displaced Shelton Barber, Now Helped, Wants to Give Back

A Shelton barber, who is out of work since the Downtown shop where he cut hair burned down, last week, has raised $1,480 to replace his haircutting tools.

He said he was told insurance would not replace them.

In a recent post on Gofundme.com, a poster wrote:

"WOW. that is all I can say!! We are truly overwhelmed with the incredibly generous donations and the outreach of our friends and family to help with this situation! we are truly blessed and have exceeded our goal only because of the love and support of all of you! Abe and Brittany are so overwhelmed with support that they are also trying to give back what they can do to help with other victims of the fire especially the families that lost their home. Again, we thank you from the bottom of our heart and from our family to yours thank you!"
