People Are Still Hungry in August

The holidays tend to lend themselves to the spirit of giving. But people are hungry all year round and this local food pantry is hoping the community will give before the holiday season begins.

The shelves at Pam’s Pantry are in need of restocking. The pantry is affiliated with the Visiting Nurse Association of South Central Connecticut.

"Although the holidays are still a few months away, many of our patients need the food supplies throughout the year," Melissa Healy posted in this announcement on Orange Patch.
