Shelton BNI to Host Open House at Brownson Country Club

Shelton Alliance BNI Chapter To Host Open House on October 19, 2011                       

Jump start your business this fall and learn how the Shelton Alliance BNI (Business Networking International) can help you achieve your goals. 

This business group will be hosting a Fall Open House on Wednesday, October 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Brownson Country Club, 15 Soundview Avenue, Shelton.  Appetizers will be served along with a cash bar. The cost per person is $10.

Business people who want to grow their business through warm referrals are invited to attend.  Membership is not restricted by town but is open to professionals in Shelton and other communities.

BNI is the largest most recognized business networking system in the world. Membership is exclusive per profession.

Shelton Alliance BNI is currently seeking one business professional in the each of the following categories: an attorney, accountant, banker, carpenter, carpet cleaner, electrician, life insurance agent, painter, payroll specialist, pediatrician and web designer. There are limited business openings in other categories too.           

The incoming slate of officers includes: President, Cara Mocarski of Shelton, a Community Marketing Executive with Welcome Wagon; Vice President, Dan L‘Altrella of Shelton, a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist with L’Altrella Lending Group; and Secretary/Treasurer, Tom Maier of Shelton, Owner of Action Coach Business Coaching.             

The membership committee is comprised of Madeline Lopez of Bridgeport, an Individual Sales Representative with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield and David Broder of Shelton, a Financial Advisor with Shelton Financial Services.  In addition, Shelton resident Paul Jensen of Coldwell Banker Frascatore Realty, founder and past President of this business group, will serve as the Education Coordinator. Also, Thomas Steeves of Shelton, a Commercial Lines Producer with Ferguson & McGuire, will be the Visitor Host.
