The Foundation For Life Donates $500 to the Regional Youth Adult Social Action Partnership

The Foundation For Life, non-profit was created as a means to allow Barnum Financial Group employees to volunteer and assist in the community. In addition to the Foundation hosting many of its own events, we also like to support and recognize the efforts of others working with children and families.

The Foundation For Life applauds RYASAP for their efforts in creating stronger community bonds and for the role they take in shaping our youth into tomorrow’s leaders.

RYASAP is an urban/suburban collaborative for solving community problems in greater Bridgeport and throughout Connecticut. They run various programs that have a positive impact on our community.

The Safe Asleep Program is providing free smoke alarms to Bridgeport homes as a means of fire prevention. The Parent Leadership Training Institute course they host is enabling parents to become advocates for the children in our communities. Youth Inc programs seek to show the importance of ones relation to their immediate world. Enhancing leadership development skills and teaching youth that they have a voice which can make a difference to impact the world around us. RYASAP’s work also involves juvenile justice reform, teen dating, AmeriCorps-Public Allies, urban education reform and closing the achievement gap as well as gambling and substance use education.
