Read & Grow: 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Shelton residents are invited to drop in to the
library to register for our new program for newborns to children entering
kindergarten. Pledge to read 1000 books to your child before they enter school.
Receive educational prizes as you reach certain reading milestones. Build a
binder of information and reading logs to serve as a great memento of your
child’s early literacy experiences. Along the way, collect great reading tips
and resources to use with your child. Our kickoff celebration will feature
information and activity stations for you and your child. Please join us for
this wonderful family-based literacy program.
