Partial Parking Closure in Downtown Shelton

As of Tuesday, May 1, a section of the parking lot on the corner of Cornell Street and Howe Avenue will be used for purposes of staging activitis for construction canal street. The site will be fenced and partially deployed to assist with the staging of construction at the Avalon site on Canal Street.

Fifty-two spaces will remain available for local businesses (see attached .pdf file map).

Alternate parking, if needed, is available directly across the street.

The municipal parking lot is scheduled to be fully re-opened by Saturday, June 30.
