Company Urges Customers to Read Water Quality Report

The following letter was submitted by Aquarion Water Company.

To the Editor,

Recently, Aquarion Water Company mailed each of its customers the 2010 edition of its annual water quality report. Yet again, it details how the quality of the water we supplied to customers throughout the area met or surpassed stringent state and federal standards.

Our system’s results are based on the more than 115,000 water quality tests we conduct each year. I’d like to take this opportunity to commend our water quality team and all our employees for their commitment to ensuring that the safety and purity of our water is second to none.

Whether protecting the environmental integrity of our water sources, keeping our
pumping, treatment and distribution systems in top shape, or adhering to our rigorous testing schedule and standards, Aquarion employees make safeguarding our customers’ well-being their top priority.

I urge every customer to read his or her water quality report in detail. You’ll see how
your water stacks up against the tough standards, and also how Aquarion employees are working to make our future reports equally notable.
