Echo Hose Does Santa!

Every year, without fail... the guys from Company 1, Echo Hose Hook and Ladder get on one of their fire trucks with Santa planted right on top and drive through the district's streets throwing popcorn balls at all the kids. 

You can hear them coming a mile away, sirens blaring, and lights flashing, just like they were going to an actual fire, but instead they are going 5 miles an hour spreading Christmas Cheer.

The first year we moved to Shelton I actually ran outside in my bare feet to see what was going on. I saw all the kids running outside so I grabbed my son, just a year old and joined right in.  My feet hated me.

Then my husband actually joined the fire company!  And we got the inside scoop as to when Santa was coming... made me totally feel like a VIP. Wouldn't you?

Well I have the inside scoop that they are going to be making their trip this weekend!

So make sure you are home, keep your ears open and maybe they will make their way down your street!
