CT Father Packed Pot in Toddler's Lunch

Just when I think I have heard all the ins and outs of crappy parenting, a Connecticut man has colored me confused! Fortunately for our community in Shelton (which has gotten its fair share of bad press in recent months), it wasn't here!

A Killingworth man was charged with risk of injury to a minor and possesition of a controlled substance for apparently packing a "cigarette filled with marijuana' inside the lunch of his 18 month old child.

An employee at the daycare center his child attends found it, and contacted the police. The father claims he accidentally dropped it while preparing the child's lunch the night before.

For real? Is this guy serious?

As a mom, this boggles my mind! How can you accidentally drop a joint into your kids lunch? Then just act like it is no big deal. WHAT?!?

Now I know all drug addicts aren't bad, but seriously, when you have an 18 month old child in your care, it certainly isn't something you should be doing, or even considering.

Maybe that is just the responsible parent in me, but I just find it extremely unacceptable altogether. 

Put your kids first dude, and put the doobie down!
