Shawna Hall of Shelton has been selected as Bridgeport Hospital’s August employee of the month for her positive attitude and outstanding service to patients and co-workers.
Hall is a registered nurse in the Critical Care Resource Support Unit who has been with the hospital for more than 20 years. “Shawna shares an exuberant greeting and friendly smile with each patient and team member,” state her nominators. “Her enthusiastic approach is contagious. She is empathetic and understanding with her colleagues, patients and visitors. Her outstanding people skills are well matched by her clinical skills.”
Employees of the Month receive a plaque, a pin and a letter of commendation, and are eligible to be named Employee of the Year in May 2013.
