So what is the town doing today??

Is it me, am I alone on this? Town trucks go past my home everyday (Myrtle Street) pounding the road and leaving all kinds of dust and debris all over the streets, yards, on cars and homes. Does the town sweep the roads? No!

During the winter after a storm the town plows go down Myrtle Street time and time again plowing the streets (no snow on the road), which tears the road up. I have lived on Myrtle for 10 years and have watched the street deteriorate from town truck traffic.

Lo and behold yesterday the town came out to sweep the road... Would have been nice if there was notification to all home owners, so they can move their cars...!  Now today a sign was posted at 12:30 p.m. notifying home owners not to park on the right side of the road tomorrow starting at 7 a.m... otherwise their cars will be towed.. That is less than 24 notice... and to do WHAT???? My neighbors have two cars parked on the street and guess what they are on vacation.. WOW.. they are not going to be happy when they return on Saturday...

Why is there no notification of work to be done in the area?... Homeowners should have a right to know in advance of work to be done. What is so wrong with that...??

My problem.... I  have two contractors coming tomorrow to do work at my home...  I hope there are no issues with them attaining access to my street... or my driveway.. It has only taken me 2 months to get them to come out...
