Come join us for this fun summer workshop.  You will learn songs and dances from your favorite Broadway shows like Wicked, Les Miz, and Godspell.

Hour long workshops in dance, acting, and singing each Tuesday evening with a final showcase.

Joanna Bair (Dance/Acting) Director of Charis Performing Arts Center, member of Atmostphere Dance Company, graduated with BA in Theatre and English from Eastern Nazarene College. Completed the Broadway Dance Center Intern Program, Interned Off Broadway at The Lamb’s Theatre, Theatre Arts Center NYC, and Audubon Arts Program in New Haven as well as taught dance in various CT dance schools.

Marissa Behuniak (Dance)started her Pre-professional training with the New Haven Ballet. She went on to continue her training at summer intensives at BalletMet and The Nashville Ballet. She then danced with the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in New York City as a Trainee. She recently completed the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center. Marissa is currently teaching Ballet at Starship Dance Theatre and Musical Theatre at Kidz Konnections

Allison Frank(Acting)- Allison assisted directing I Never Saw Another Butterfly last year. She attends The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC for her BFA in musical theatre. She has worked with various Broadway professionals over the years.

Stefanie DeLeo(Acting/Singing)- Has taught acting in Boston, NYC, and South Africa where she spent two and a half years implementing intercultural theatre programs in South African schools. She has been seen locally as an actress at Curtain Call in Stamford, recently directed I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change at the Darien Arts Center, and sang at the Vessels of Grace benefit here with Charis.

Abigail Wolff(Acting/Singing)-A recent graudate of Taylor University is studying for her MA in Psychology. At Taylor she was Charge Make-up artist/designer. She designed and acted in shows as well as has been producer, assistant director and director. She is a worship leader at Church of the Apostles.

Join us for this fun week of dance, singing, and acting. Students will learn how to use the arts for the glory of God while working on a play to be presented at the end of the week.

Since I do not want people to not be able to attend because of financial reasons we will take a freewill offering during the final performance.
