Boys & Girls Club Walkathon

Boys & Girls Club, LNV - 4th annual "Get Your Walk On" walkathon will once again be held in conjunction with the Soupstock Festival on "The Slab" at Veteran's Memorial Park. Scheduled for June 9, 2012 (rain date of June 10), the walkathon is being held to raise money to provide programs for the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.

The walk begins at 10 am at "The Slab" at Veteran's Park in Shelton. Walk route is the paved path that runs around Veteran's Park. Prizes will be awarded for the Top Individual and Top Team fundraisers.

A minimum pledge of $25 is required for individual walkers, which provides you with a commemorative walkathon T-shirt and lunch, provided exclusively for our walkers by Outback Steakhouse. Walkers will also receive a discounted entry fee to the Soupstock Festival soup tent. Soupstock is an all-day festival hosted by Shelton business Liquid Lunch, which will take place in the grassy area inside the walk route.

Teams are welcome and encouraged to walk and will also receive our commemorative T-shirt, lunch, and discounted entry to the Soupstock soup tent.
