Down by the River Festival Planned for Sept. 6

The Down by the River Festival will take place Sept. 6 in Shelton.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the festival will offer live music, a kids' zone and a chili cook off.

There will be a featured performance by Shakedown. The festival will take place at the Riverwalk and Veterans Memorial Park, and it will include the Bike for Hope charity bike ride. Registration is required to participate in the ride.
