New 'Shelton Tot Time' Program Coming in Fall

The following press release comes from Jim Mastrony of the Shelton Parks & Recreation Department, offices located in the Shelton Community Center.

Time well spent together playing, creating, exercising and learning. Shelton Tot Time is a NEW child and me activity program located at the and is being offered through the City of Shelton Parks and Recreation Department and welcomes EVERYONE…our wonderful residents that make up Shelton and all our friends from the neighboring communities!

The activity program provides caregivers and young children enjoyable ways to make the most of the time they spend together, in a safe happy environment that enhances early learning, creative expression, socialization skills, and promotes well being. Each tot will be assisted by their caregiver for every activity, encouraging both to grow closer together while given the opportunity of interacting and socializing with others. Shelton Tot Time supplies the activity while you BOTH enjoy the FUN!

As an added bonus to the program, *Time To Give Back* is a portion of Shelton Tot Time that strives to teach the tots at an early age the benefits of giving to those in need. A simple kind gesture can go a long way! The goal is to incorporate different ways of having the tots help those around the community.
