When you get tired of raking leaves, why not try some beer and wings?
The Derby-Shelton Rotary Club has announced another annual Hoptoberfest, featuring more than 50 craft beers and a chicken wing competition from local restaurants, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
"The People’s Choice votes will award the 'King of the Wing'," according to its Facebook page.
Proceeds from will support the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club’s college scholarship program, elementary school literacy programs and beautification efforts in Downtown Derby and Shelton.
