ELECTRI-CABLE ASSEMBLIES IS THE MADE IN CT MANUFACTURER OF THE WEEK


(Rocky Hill, Connecticut) - CONNSTEP announced today that Electri-Cable Assemblies, Inc., is the featured Made in CT manufacturer of the week.  Electri-Cable Assemblies (ECA) is a leading designer and manufacturer or power, data and electrical solutions for the office furniture industry.  The company's power and data modules are used in conference room applications, as well as, training table, library and educational applications. 

Founded in 1975, ECA employs 65 highly skilled staff in Shelton, Connecticut.  Awarded the AME Northeast Excellence in Manufacturing Award by the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, the company was recognized for its dedication and on-going commitment to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

The Made in CT Program (www.made-in-ct.com) is a dedicated feature on the CONNSTEP website, creating a directory for the state's manufacturers to showcase products and services. Eligible companies can register to receive a complimentary company profile page to share company history, products/services and company news.  The goal of the program is to showcase the products made in the Nutmeg State and highlight the contributions of the manufacturing community to the public. Additionally, the program provides social media forums for manufacturers to connect with one another and discuss industry issues.
